Here I am working on reproducing a 1/3 scale Roland DVIb to Museum Scale using factory drawings and various other reference material. Each section will be posted with the images of the various parts. I am starting with the tailplanes first as those are the easiest. The design will be done using Corel Draw X4 and Solidworks 2009. The Final kit date is hoped to be sometime in 2010, as after all the drawings are done there is still fittings and such that need to be fabricated. For those that do not know much about the Roland, it was equal in performance to the Fokker DVII and used the same engine. The problem was it came out later in the war and Fokker was more well known (politics in germany). This should be a good stable platform for a plane and is not your usual seen at the field craft. The complete fuselage is planked in overlapping "clinker" style sheeting. In the designing the plane section I will post various 2d drawings of some parts and in the other sections will all be 3d drawings done for each section of the plane.

Tonight I started trying my hand at Lofting my fuse.
